What does it feel like when you can see the sand slipping relentlessly from between your fingers...when everything that you once held so dear to you, everything that mattered to you, evreything that formed the very essence of your life fritters away..right in front of you, and all that you can do is grope with your helpnessness to stop it from happening?
Life evolves, new changes spring up...new challenges show up..and you most readily accept them too..God must us all strong, and we must prove our worth...but, you gain some, and you lose some. Gaining is a wonderful experience, then why do we fret over things that no longer remain with us..maybe because what we gained is still new, unknown territory for us, still waiting to be explored...but what you lose is what you knew in all its hues-whites, greys and blacks. But should that prevent one from appreciating what we gained, what we have?

are you being suggestive through this post, or is just a vent to your feelings? the direction (optimism or pessimism) is not evident!

A,
I wd have gladly answered yr query, had u made yrself less secretive...spelling out yr name should not be so difficult.
Well stated Nupur- and we should definitely not degrade what we have gained at present- however we cannot help but compare the present success with our past losses- and on weighing the results of what we could have gained instead of the loss suffered being more worthy than the present achievement that's what pinches a human being the most...
It ain't secrecy Nupur. This is my internet identity - may be a comfort zone to interact online. You know me, my blog, though you still don't know me. And asking real-life-identity of bloggers/blog-readers is anyhow pointless. Have been reading your posts for ages now, though never thought of commenting .. lagta hai is baar galti kar di [:P]
Unlike a lot of people, I believe that life is way more beautiful in black and white than
it is in colour. If you ever compare a black and white photograph with a coloured one,
you will find that in the coloured picture you end up concentrating on a lot more than
the subject-the blemishes, the lighting and so on. On the other hand, all you see in a
black and white photograph is the subject in its own true form. Life is a photo-and it
is you who decides whether you want to view it in colour or black and white.
Why fret over the past or the future when the only place it exists is in your mind.
The only philosophy I consider worth following is the one that advocates thinking
as little as possible about life, its joys and sorrows and the people who give it shape.
Thinking little is the key to happiness.
Hi...
Why do we take things in the perspective of what we gained or lost??? Do we gain or loose anything actually??
We get to meet people, see things, experience places innumerous times traversing through our life-journey. And if we glued everything to our backs and tried marching ahead in life , i bet we cannot move an inch!!
Two mantras of a happy life:
1. Let go things as if they never belonged to you.
2. Welcome things in life believing that they shall not stay for long.
Or to put it up in simpler words , whenever you feel sad or empty handed just remember that " This shall pass too"
And whenever you feel happy and content dont forget that "this shall pass too"
P.S: Have blogrolled you.. :)
